Arrr! Two of my sister’s favorite design motifs are skulls and argyle. So, when I was trying to think of something to make for her, it was only natural that I’d come with with combination of the two.

Bring out your inner rebel pirate with this design, which is achieved via stranded colorwork and carrying the colors along the back.

  • 4 coordinating colors of DK weight yarn, approximately 60-80yds/ 153-205cm.

  • Sizes XS and M:
        US 4/ 3.5 mm 16”/ 40cm circular needles, or size to obtain gauge
        US 4/ 3.5 mm double-pointed needles
        US 2/ 2.75mm 16”/ 40cm circular needles, or 1-2 sizes smaller than main needles

  • Sizes S and XL:
        US 5/ 3.75 mm 16”/ 40cm circular needles, or size to obtain gauge.
        US 5/ 3.75 mm double-pointed needles
        US 3/ 3.25mm 16”/ 40cm circular needles, or 1-2 sizes smaller than main needles

  • Sizes L and XXL:
        US 6/4 mm 16”/ 40cm circular needles, or size to obtain gauge.
        US 6/4 mm double pointed needles
        US 4/ 3.5 mm 16”/ 40cm circular needles, or 1-2 sizes smaller than main needles
