 Weekend Shawl

    by Anne Kuo Lukito

My crazy self decided that I needed to knit a shawl for my godmother when she visited from overseas. Hence, I commenced Operation: 2-Day Shawl. The shawl was designed, written and knitted in less than 48 hours. No kidding!

The Weekend Shawl is the reincarnation of Operation: 2-Day shawl, reworked and rewritten for your knitting pleasure with two different yarn weights in three sizes each (6 sizes total!). While you may not be wacky enough to knit it in two days, it sure is nice to know that you can, right?

The shawl is not a triangle or a circle - it’s more of three-quarter circle, worked top-down in a simple background of Stockinette stitch. The lace border adds a simple elegance.
